Fuel Pressure: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Pump, Checking
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Hand held remote control (jumper).
‹› Multimeter.
‹› Electrical connector test lead set.
Test requirements
‹› Battery voltage at least 12.5 volts.
‹› Fuse 27 (on fuse panel C) on fuse holder OK.
‹› Fuel Pump (FP) Control Module (J538) OK.
‹› Low Fuel Pressure Sensor (G410) OK.
Checking voltage supply

Remove the rear seat bench.

Disconnect the Fuel Pump (FP) Control Module ( J538) electrical harness connector - arrow -.
-
Using a Multimeter, check the Fuel Pump (FP) Control Module (J538) electrical harness connector terminals 1 to 6 for voltage.
