Fluid - M/T: Testing and Inspection

Transmission Fluid, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Triple Square Socket Driver (3357)

Remove the noise insulation.

-

Remove the oil fill plug - arrow -.

The oil level is correct when the transmission is filled up to the lower edge of the fill hole.

-

Install the plug - arrow - with a new seal.

-

Tighten the plug - arrow - to specification.

When filling, note the following:

-

Remove the plug - arrow -.

-

Top off the oil to the lower edge of the fill hole.

-

Install the plug - arrow - with a new seal.

-

Tighten the plug - arrow - to specification.

-

Install the noise insulation.
