When doing this, the bracket - A - must be pressed out of the transmission in - direction of arrow 1 -. 

‹› Press the bracket - A - out of the selector housing as far as the stop - direction of arrow 1 -. It must face upward - direction of arrow 2 -.

Remove the (T10027 A) out of the holes -  A and B -.

Install the boot, the shift knob and, if equipped, the noise insulation. Refer to one of the following:

Check the selector shaft for ease of movement.

If removed, install entire air filter housing.

Function

‹› In neutral, the shift lever must rest in the 3rd/4th gear gate.

Press the clutch.

-

Select all gears several times. Pay particular attention to the operation of the reverse gear lock.

-

Should a gear fail to engage smoothly after repeated selection, adjust the shift mechanism again.
