Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, From 06.09

‹› The relay carrier is clipped under the vehicle electrical system control module and can be removed.

‹› If the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module ( J519) is being replaced, then always perform the procedure to read out the code stored in the

module coding vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Coding, From 06.09 ] See:

Removing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

‹› The relay carrier under the vehicle electrical system control module is not installed in all vehicles. Depending on the vehicle equipment level, the

vehicle may or may not have a relay carrier.

Remove the relay carrier on the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Relay Carrier On Vehicle Electrical System Control
Module, From 06.09 ] See: Relay Carrier On Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Left Instrument Panel.

Disconnect the connectors.

Press both locking mechanisms - arrows - and move the vehicle electrical system control module downward.

-

Pull the vehicle electrical system control module out of the bracket downward and opposite the drive direction.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Install the vehicle electrical system control module into the bracket and then push on it until it audibly engages.
