Radio And Radio-Navigation Systems

NOTE:  Use the chapter for the individual unit when removing and installing.

"Premium Sound System" radio system.
"Radio-Navigation system" and "Radio-Navigation system with Dynaudio Sound".

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge 3409

Removing

Before starting repair work, perform the following:

-

If necessary, remove CDs remaining in unit see Owners Manual

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical components and remove ignition key.

Now, perform the following work procedure:

-

Using trim removal wedge 3409, carefully pry out cover of center console in area of - arrows - and remove cover.

-

Remove screws - arrows - on radio navigation system.

-

Pull radio navigation system out of installation compartment far enough until harness connectors on rear side of radio navigation system are
accessible.

Press connector lock together in direction of - arrows -.
