‹› The tightening specifications only apply to factory-installed trailer hitches.

‹›  Obtain tightening specifications of other tow hitches from corresponding manufacturer.

Trailer Hitch

‹› Removing rear bumper carrier. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover /

Fascia/Service and Repair.

‹› Trailer hitch with removable ball head - 4 - is depicted.

Bolt 

‹› Sealing threaded connections

‹› 2 pieces per side

‹› Tightening specification: 20 Nm

DANGER!
Bolts - 2 - are sealing threaded connections and seal the interior from exhaust gases and must be installed in any case.
