Front Bumper Cover Overview

Front Bumper Cover

‹› Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of front bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing

-

Remove radiator grille. Refer to => [ Radiator Grille ] See: Grille/Service and Repair/Radiator Grille.

Remove left and right front parts of wheel housing liners. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] 

-

Remove bolts - 2 - on left and right sides.

-

Remove screws - 3 - (pointing upward) at left and right.

-

Remove bolts - 5 - from below.

-

Remove bolts - 6 - from above out of lock carrier. 

-

Release left and right side guide trim - 4 - in -  direction of arrow -.

A second mechanic is required for the rest of the removal procedure. 

-

With a second technician, pull bumper cover - 1 - parallel out of side guide trim in fender.

-

Disconnect harness connectors of installed electrical components and hoses.
