Remove the piston from the brake caliper by turning the knurled wheel on the resetting & extracting tool (T 10165) toward the left.

Insert the resetting & extracting tool (T 10165 ) so the collar makes contact on the piston.

‹› For pistons that are difficult to move, a 13 mm open end wrench can be used at the appropriate wrench surface - arrow A -.

Remove the seal using the trim removal wedge ( 3409).

Installing

-

The surface of the piston and seal must only be cleaned with mineral spirits and then dried.

Thinly coat piston and seal with assembly paste ( G 052 150 A2) before inserting.

-

Place the protective cap with outer sea on piston.
