Bearing Cap
‹› Bearing cap 1: vibration damper side.
‹› Bearing cap 5 with notches for the thrust washers.
‹› Retaining tabs on the bearing shells and cylinder block/bearing caps must align above one another.

Bolt
‹› 30 Nm + 180° (1/2) additional turn.
‹› Replace
‹› Two 90° additional turns is permitted.

Bearing Shells, 1 through 7
‹› For the bearing caps without oil grooves.
‹› For the cylinder block with the oil groove.
‹› Do not interchange used bearing shells.
