‹› Replace if damaged.

‹› 23 Nm

Camshaft Timing Chain

‹› Mark the direction of rotation before removing (installed position). Refer to => [ Timing Chain Marks ] See: Timing Components/Timing

‹› Installing, refer to => [ Intermediate Shaft and Timing Chains, Installing ] See: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and

Combination Valve

‹› Checking, refer to one of the following:

Engine code BUB, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve, Checking ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control
Systems/Air Injection/Air Injection Control Valve/Service and Repair. 

Engine code CBRA => [ Secondary Air Injection Combination Valves, Checking ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control
Systems/Air Injection/Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve/Service and Repair.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:

Engine code BUB, refer to => [ Combination Valve ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Air Injection/Service and
Repair. 

Engine code CBRA, refer to => [ Left Combination Valve ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Air Injection/Service
and Repair or => [ Right Combination Valve ] See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Air Injection/Service and Repair.

Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205)

‹› For the intake camshaft.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Camshaft Adjuster Valves ] See: Actuators and Solenoids - Engine/Variable Valve Timing

Actuator/Service and Repair/Camshaft Adjuster Valves.

‹› Mark the connector belonging to the component before disconnecting.

Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (Exhaust) (N318)

‹› For the exhaust camshaft.

‹› Mark the connector belonging to the component before disconnecting.
