Remove the ribbed belt.

Installing

‹› Before installing the ribbed belt, make sure that all ancillaries (generator, Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor, etc.) are secured tightly. 

‹› Check the idler pulleys for ease of movement

‹› The ribbed belt must not be kinked.

‹› If reinstalling the old belt, note the previously marked direction of belt rotation and be sure that it is seated correctly on the pulleys.

Install the ribbed belt as shown.

Install the wrench - 1 - onto the belt tensioner bolt and turn in the - direction of the arrow - far enough until the (T10027) can be removed from
the tensioner.
