Oil Filter Bracket

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Dia. (3094)

‹› Assembly Tool (T10118)

Removing

CAUTION!
Cover the cap on the coolant expansion tank with a cloth and open the cap carefully, as hot steam or hot coolant may escape when
opening.

Open the coolant expansion tank cap.

Remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor (V101). Refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor ] See: Powertrain
Management/Emission Control Systems/Air Injection/Service and Repair.

Clamp off the coolant hoses - 2 and 3 - using (3094).

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - from the oil pressure switch using (T10118).

Disconnect the coolant hoses - 2 and 3 - from the oil filter bracket.

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the oil filter bracket.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› Replace the gaskets.

Fill the cooling system. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] See: Cooling System/Service and Repair/Procedures/Draining and Filling.
