Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster

‹› Identification: 32A

‹› Only rotate the engine with the camshaft adjuster installed.

Tensioning Rail

‹› For the camshaft timing chain - item 3 -.

Pivot Pin

‹› 18 Nm

Chain Tensioner

‹› 40 Nm

‹› For the camshaft timing chain - item 3 -.

‹› Only rotate the engine with the chain tensioner installed.

Seal

‹› Replace if damaged or leaking.

Sprocket

‹› For the timing chain - item 15 -.

Sprocket

‹› For the camshaft timing chain - item 3 -.

Bolt

‹› 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

‹› Replace

‹› Use counter-holder tool (T10069) to tighten and loosen. Refer to => [ Intermediate Shaft and Timing Chains, Installing ] See: Intermediate

Shaft and Timing Chains, Installing.

Chain Tensioner with Tensioning Rail

‹› For the timing chain - item 15 -.

‹› Before installation release the locking device in the chain tensioner using a small screwdriver and press the tensioning plate against the chain

tensioner.

‹› Only rotate the engine with the chain tensioner installed.

Drive Sprocket

‹› Integral part of the crankshaft.
