So that harness connector - 1 - can be disconnected, harness connector must be released from the retaining clip - arrow B -.

Release retaining clip as follows:

Press locking tab - 1 - in direction of - arrow A -.

Slide harness connector - 2 - upward - arrow B -.

Disconnect the harness connector by pressing securing button toward the cable and simultaneously pulling the harness connector apart.

Remove nuts - arrows A - and remove tail lamp toward rear out of side panel.
