Disconnect the connectors from the camshaft adjustment valve 1 (N205)- 3 - and camshaft adjustment valve 1 (exhaust) (N318) - 4 -.

Free up the wiring harness.

Remove the camshaft timing chain tensioner - arrow -.
-
Remove the camshaft front cover bolts - arrows -.
-
When all bolts have been removed, the cover can be carefully pried off.
