Front Passenger Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

Front Passenger Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

NOTE:  It depends on the vehicle equipment whether the components and functions listed below can be checked.

The following components and functions can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of door control module:

-

Activation of front passengers side switch illumination

-

Activation of front passengers side central locking system (activating)

-

Activation of front passengers side mirror functions (mirror heater and mirror fold-in function)

-

Activation of turn signal in front passengers side mirror ( Front Passengers Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamp L132 )

-

Activation of front passengers side ambient light ( Front Passengers Entry Lamp (in outside mirror) W53 )

-

Activation of front passengers side window regulator (driving down)

-

Activation of front passengers side window regulator (driving up)

-

Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.

-

In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

-

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
-

Body

-

Body repair procedures

-

01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

-

Front passengers door electronics

-

Front passengers door control module functions

-

Front Passengers Door Control Module - output diagnostic test mode

Left Rear Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

Left Rear Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

The following components or functions can be checked via Left Rear Door Control Module J388 output diagnostic test mode.

-

Activation of left rear window regulator (driving down)

-

Activation of left rear window regulator (driving up)

-

Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.

-

In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

-

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
-

Body

-

Body repair procedures

Left rear door electronics

-

Functions of Left Rear Door Control Module

-

Left Rear Door Control Module - output diagnostic test mode

Right Rear Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

Right Rear Door Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

The following components and functions can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of door control module:

Activation of right rear window regulator (driving down)

Activation of right rear window regulator (driving up)

Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.

In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
