Manual Seat Adjustment

Remove front left seat trim. Refer to => [ Left Seat Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Electric Seat Adjustment

-

Remove left power seat trim. Refer to => [ Left Power Seat Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

All Vehicles

-

Remove front seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left Front Seat Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats

-

Attach the backrest to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Remove cover and upholstery from front seat backrest. Refer to => [ Front Seat Backrest Covers and Upholstery ] See: Body and
Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats - Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Covers and Upholstery

Separate wiring harness - 1 - from backrest frame. 

-

Remove bolt - 2 - (9 Nm).

-

Remove side airbag - 3 - from mounting in backrest frame.

Installing

-

Perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
