Front Seat Belt Latches

‹› Removing and installing the left seat safety belt latch is described. The same instructions apply for removal and installation for safety belt latch of

right seat.

Removing

-

Remove front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Position seat as far forward as possible.

Remove cover cap - 1 - from seat rail on tunnel side.

If present, disconnect wiring harness from seat frame.

Remove bolt - 1 - (20 Nm).

‹› The screw is micro-encapsulated and must be replaced every time it is loosened.

‹› Before new bolts are installed, the thread of the corresponding nut must be cleaned.

Remove the safety belt latch - 2 - from the mount in the seat rail - arrow -.
