‹› All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.

Remove the roof pillar. Refer to => [ Roof Pillar ] See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Roof Pillar.

Remove the bolt - 2 - and the sensor - 1 - from the locking mechanism.
When replacing sensor, disconnect wire - 3 - at connector - 4 -.
Tightening specification for screw - 2 -: 3 Nm.
