Using the steel wire - 2 -, release - arrow  - the retaining lever - 3 - of the lock cylinder -  1 -.

-

Connect the immobilizer induction coil connector.

-

Insert the lock cylinder - 1 - into the steering lock housing.

‹› Connection of induction coil for anti-theft immobilizer must be inserted into guide on steering lock housing.

-

Pull the steel wire - 2 - out of the lock cylinder -  1 - and verify that the lock cylinder is securely seated in the steering lock housing.

Install all components in reverse order of removal.

When disconnecting and connecting battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information => [ Disconnecting

Replacement/Disconnecting and Connecting Battery In Engine Compartment or => [ Disconnecting and Connecting Batteries In Luggage
Compartment ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Disconnecting and Connecting
Batteries In Luggage Compartment.

Removing:

-

Disconnect battery. Refer to => [ Disconnecting and Connecting Battery In Engine Compartment ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Disconnecting and Connecting Battery In Engine Compartment or => [ Disconnecting and Connecting Batteries
In Luggage Compartment ] See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Disconnecting and Connecting
Batteries In Luggage Compartment.

Remove driver's side airbag unit.

-

Remove steering wheel.

-

Remove the steering column trim.
