Loosen secured wiring harnesses from bracket if necessary and remove it from vehicle.

Remove noise insulation.

Remove lower starter mounting bolt - arrow - (M10= 40 Nm, M12= 80 Nm).

Disconnect harness connector - 1 - and slide cap - 2 - downward from the solenoid switch in the - direction of the arrow -.
-
Remove positive wire - arrow - (15 Nm).
