‹› M12 x 1.5

‹› 20 Nm + 90° turn

‹› Self-locking

‹› Always replace after removal.

‹› 50 Nm + 90° turn

‹› Always replace after removal.

‹› Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System ( VAS 5051B)

Removing

-

Remove steering column. Refer to => [ Steering Column, through MY 2008 ] See: Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Steering Column, Through MY 2008.

Remove instrument cluster.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - under console.

-

Slide connector - 1 - in - direction of arrow  - and remove it from mount in mounting bracket.
