Do not grease the cable connection!

Place selector lever in the "P" position.

Remove cable from lever on transmission.

Move selector lever from "P" to "S" and back to "P" again several times.
‹› Selector lever must have freedom of movement while doing so.

Install cable with new lock washers and loosened adjustment bolt.
