Disassembling
Removing outer constant velocity joint
^
Secure axle shaft with protective covers in vise clamp.
^
Fold back boot.
^
Drive CV joint from drive axle using a drift - A -.
Drive must be applied exactly on star of constant velocity joint.
Driving joint on
^
Drive onto shaft with plastic hammer until securing ring engages.
Drive off cover for inner joint
^
Remove securing ring.
^
Remove both clamps and slide CV boot toward outer joint.
^
Drive out CV joint boot with a drift.
