Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pressure Piece (3377)

‹› Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Torque Wrench (40-200 Nm) (V.A.G 1332)

‹› Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1)

‹› Grease (G 052 735)

Removing

-

Remove the right wheel.

-

Remove the noise insulation.

-

Remove the right drive axle.

Vehicles with a Intermediate Shaft

-

After removing the right drive axle - A -, remove the intermediate shaft to mounting bracket bolts - arrows - and pull off from the transmission
stub shaft.

Continuation for All Vehicles

-

Place appropriate receptacle underneath the transmission.

-

Remove the bolt - arrow - for the stub or flange shaft.
