Remove door trim.

-

Completely remove spacer strips and spacer pieces.

NOTE:  Keep adhesive surface free of dirt and grease.

Cut twelve spacer pieces (15 mm long) from gasket, Part No. 701 867 225 D.

-

Pull protective film off spacer pieces and stick onto markings - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Also cut spacer strips that are still missing from gasket, Part No. 701 867 225 D, so that approx. 40 mm remains free in area of latch hook - 3 -
and approx. 30 mm in area of latch hook - 4 -.

-

Cut spacer strips off in radii and heat to approx. 20 ° C with a heat gun.

-

Pull off protective film and press spacer strips tightly on door trim.
