Sunroof Panel, Removing and Installing

Sunroof Panel, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove sunroof.

-

Remove left/right nuts - 1 - and remove left/right screws - 2 - (threads are coated with locking compound, use D 185 400 A2 for repairs).

Pull glass cover off left/right brackets.

Installing

Check front gaskets - arrow - for damage and replace if necessary.

Press left and right bracket on sides of sunroof frame. Slide roller - 11 - in Figure N60- 0031 must lie in hinge.

Install glass cover on brackets and align so there is a uniform gap all around it, coat threads with locking compound D 185 400 A2 and screw glass
cover onto hinges. Tightening torque: nuts = 4.5 Nm (40 in.lb), screw = 2.5 Nm (22 in.lb).
