Radio/Stereo: Description and Operation

Suppression Measures

The majority of the electrical consumers in the vehicle are suppressed for radio as standard.

On vehicles with radio or prepared for radio the following components are additionally suppressed:

Radiator fan -V7-

-

Windscreen wiper motor -V-

-

Rear window wiper motor -V12- 

Additional Ground (GND) connections on vehicle with radio or prepared for radio:

-

Ground (GND) strap from left wheel housing to hood

-

Ground (GND) strap from ignition transformer -N152- to engine block (gasoline engines only)
