Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Removal and Replacement

Sliding and Tilting Glass Sunroof

Drive Motor, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.

-

Disconnect battery ground strap.

-

Pull weather strip - 1 - out from drive motor cover.

-

Press tabs - 2 - with screwdriver or similar and disconnect.

-

Swing cover - 1 - down - arrow - and disconnect at brackets - 2 -.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 -.

-

Disconnect drive motor. During installation, replace microencapsulated screws - 1 -. Screws - 3 - can be reused.

NOTE:  Before installing drive motor, check parallel movement and adjust if necessary.

Check drive motor 0 position and install in this position.
