Central flap bearing

Removing

-

Remove footwell vent console.

-

Remove central flap motor -V70- from heater/evaporator housing.

-

Disconnect 5-pin connector T5b (for flap motor) at heater/evaporator housing. 

Installing

Install in reverse order, noting the following: 

-

Turn central flap lever until the recess aligns with lug on flap motor -arrows-

Fresh Air/Recirculating Flap Vacuum Unit, Removing/Installing

Climatronic Components In Passenger Compartment, Servicing 

Fresh air/recirculating flap vacuum unit, removing and installing

-

Remove right air outlet  

-

Remove glove box, knee padding or passenger side airbag unit 

-

Remove screws -arrows-. 

-

Twist and lift vacuum unit -1- from lever. 

-

Install in reverse order
