Removing

WARNING!

Cooling system is pressurized when engine is warm. Before performing repairs, wear gloves, goggles and other appropriate protection while slowly and
carefully releasing system pressure.

Disconnect electrical connectors.

-

Clamp coolant hoses as close as possible to heater core.

-

Loosen hose clamps and remove coolant hoses. Plug heater core outlet/inlet. 

-

Remove vent. 

-

Remove cover plate. 

-

Remove bolts.
