Prior to adaptation, new ECMs will display VIN and Immobilizer identification fields with placeholders.

NOTE:

If ECM being installed was previously adapted for Immobilizer functions, the previous adaptation must be cleared using a Login-procedure.

The secret number required for the above Login-Procedure must be determined from the ECM's 14-position Immobilizer identification number.
After a successful Login-Procedure, proceed as follows:
