Press buttons -0- and -6- to select Function 06 "End output" and press -Q- button to confirm input.

Switch ignition off.

If no driving speed indicated in Display field 3:

-

Disconnect 3-pin harness connector from Speedometer Vehicle Speed sensor (arrow).

-

Switch ignition on.

-

Switch Fluke 83 multimeter to 20 Volt DC range.

-

Connect multimeter between terminals 1+3 of harness connector using jumper wires from VW 1594 adapter kit.
-

specification: 9 to 14.5 Volts

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Reconnect Vehicle Speed sensor harness connector.

If no voltage present:

-

Check wiring using wiring diagram.

If voltage between 9 and 14.5 Volts:
