Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), switch on ignition, select operating mode 1 "Rapid data transfer" and enter address word 25 "Immobilizer".

After control module identification is displayed:

Press -> button.

Press button -1- twice. This selects the "Login procedure" function 11.

Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Input secret number, place a -0- before the 4 digit number. For example: 01915. (Value given here is an example only!!).

Secret number is not accepted. Repeat input.

3 attempts at entering the secret number correctly are possible immediately. The next 3 attempts are not permitted for at least 10 minutes. During
this time, ignition must remain on. On Board Diagnostic (OBD) must be also exited using the "End Output" function 06.

The wait period between each of the next 3 attempts doubles up to the maximum time of 255 minutes.

Press buttons -1- and -0- to select "Adaptation", function 10.
