Replacing Airbag Units Following An Accident

Accident involving activation of airbag

The following components must always be replaced:

-

Driver airbag unit

-

Front passenger airbag unit

-

Airbag control module with holder

-

Coil connector with slip ring

-

Driver seat belt

-

Front passenger seat belt (if used)

In addition, the following must also be replaced if necessary (visual check):

-

All damaged components

Accident not involving activation of airbag

If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp - K75 - does not indicate a malfunction, it is not necessary to replace the airbag components. The seat belts
should be checked separately.

After replacing the airbag units or the control module, affix stickers (tear-off strips) to the registration card and return the registration card to the relevant
Importer for registration.
