7. Sealing flange

-

Coat sealing surfaces with sealant AMV 188 001 02

8. Seal

-

Sealing ring as PTFE version:

-

Identification: without internal hose spring

-

Do not additionally oil or grease sealing lip of oil seal

-

Before installing, remove oil residue at crankshaft pin using a clean rag.

-

Remove using 2086 lever

-

Install seal press sleeve 2003/2A for removing.

-

Pull in to stop using 2003/1 seal press sleeve.

9. Shim

-

Determining thickness. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Block Assembly/Sealing Flange, Engine Rear/Service and Repair

10. Drive plate

-

Drive plate, removing and installing, refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

11. Washer

-

Note installed position

12. Bolt: Tighten to 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 °)

-

Always replace Drive plate Bolt

13. Bolt: Tighten to 25 Nm
14. Bracket

-
