Unbolt pendulum support -1- from transmission.

^

Place VAG1383 transmission support with VAG1712 front axle support below subframe.

Remove bolts for subframe.

^

Lower subframe using VAG1383A engine/transmission hoist. Guide torsion bar between separating location of exhaust pipe front/catalytic
converter and also guide drive axle past left of transmission.

Installing 

Installation is the reverse of removal.
