‹› Removal and installation is described for the left-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right-hand side is performed in the

same manner.

Removing

-

Remove side instrument panel cover. Refer to --> [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement.

Remove center A-pillar trim. Refer to --> [ Center A-Pillar Trim ] See: Center A-Pillar Trim.

Remove emblem for airbag - 1 - and remove bolt -  2 - (3.5 Nm).

Remove trim in area of mounting clip - 3 - from mounts -  arrow A -.

Remove trim from door seal piping.

Pull trim out of front mount - arrow B -.

Remove trim in rear area from instrument panel - arrow C  -.

‹› When re-installing, emblem for airbag - 1 - must be replaced.

‹› Before installing, inspect the securing clips for damage and replace if necessary.
