Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

Coolant Pipes

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Spring type clip pliers (VAS 5024A)

Removing

-

Remove the engine cover/upper air filter housing. Refer to --> [ Engine Cover/Upper Air Filter Housing ] See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Engine.

Remove the pipe - A - and hose - B - bolts -  arrows -.

-

Remove the intake air guide with the coolant fans. Refer to --> [ Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2 ] See: Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and
Repair/Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the charge air pressure sensor - 3 -.
