Remove the oil pump chain sprocket and remove the chain from the balance shaft drive.

Loosen the oil pump with balance shaft bolts working from the outside toward inside and remove it. Oil pump with balance shaft assembly

Remove the intermediate plate.

Installing and Adjusting

‹› Preload the chain tensioner.
