Oil Filter Housing: Procedures

Oil Filter Housing, Draining

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Oil drain adapter (T40057)

‹› When installing the (T40057), a valve in the oil filter housing is opened. If the (T40057) is removed, the valve closes again.

Remove the cap - arrow - from the oil filter housing. 

-

Hold the hose from the (T40057) in a drain pan and install the (T40057) to the oil filter housing.

-

Allow the engine oil to drain.
