Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Ratchet insert 1/4" (VAS 6234)

‹› TORX(R) bit set (VAG 1766)

‹› Spring type clip pliers (VAS 5024A)

‹› Torque wrench (5-60 Nm) (VAG 1783)

Removing

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

-

Remove the wiring harness from the bracket - 2 -. 

-

Remove the harness bracket bolt - 3 -.

‹› Do not pull out the camshaft adjustment valve by the connector.

-

Remove the camshaft adjuster valve bolts - arrows - and remove the valve from the housing.
