Harness, Headliner, Damaged, Sunvisor or Dome Lights Inoperative
Symptoms of harness damage may include, but are not limited too, inoperative dome lights and/or sunvisor lights.
Technical Background
Any procedure requiring the removal of the headliner may result in headliner wiring harness damage. This damage occurs when an incorrect removal of
clip fasteners has been performed.
Production Solution
Final production counter measure pending.
Service
Harness Removal
Remove headliner. See Repair Manual Group 70 Interior Trim, Roof Trim.
Before removing the harness from headliner, it is necessary to mark the harness to headliner mounting locations (see picture). Once located, carefully
separate harness from headliner in order to avoid headliner damaged.
