Variable Induction Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Throttle Valve Control Module

Removing

-

Remove the engine cover/upper air filter housing. Refer to --> [ Engine Cover/Upper Air Filter Housing ] See: Air Cleaner Housing/Service and
Repair/Engine.

Remove the pipe - A - and hose - B - bolts -  arrows -.

-

Remove the intake air guide with fan shroud. Refer to --> [ Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2 ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling
System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the charge air pressure sensor - 3 -.

Remove the bolts - 2 and 4 -.

-

Loosen the clamp - 1 -, disconnect the quick release coupling on the charge air cooler and remove the charge air pipe with the hose downward.
