Electronic Throttle Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Throttle Valve Control Module

Removing

-

Remove engine cover/air filter.

-

Remove pipe - A - and hose - B - - arrows -.

-

Remove intake air elbow with coolant fans.

-

Disconnect connector from Charge Air Pressure Sensor G31 - 3 -

-

Remove bolts - 2 - and - 4 -.

-

Loosen clamp - 1 -, disconnect quick-release coupling on charge air cooler and remove the charge air pipe with the hose downward.

-

Remove coolant pipe and oil dipstick guide from intake manifold - arrows - and remove oil dipstick guide from engine.

-

Remove four bolts of Throttle Valve Control Module J338 and remove them.
