Steering Column Control Module: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Vehicle tester (VAS 5051A)

Connect the (VAS 5051A).

-

On the (VAS 5051A), select "Guided Fault Finding".

Using the Sprung button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

‹› 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) Capable Systems

‹› Steering wheel electronics

‹› Functions of steering wheel electronics

‹› Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of steering wheel electronics
