Installing

Vehicles with bolted crash sensors

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

Vehicles with riveted crash sensors

Re-connect the connector - 4 - to the crash sensor.

Attach the crash sensor to the subframe using a blind rivet -  2 -; use pop rivet pliers (VAS 5072). 

-

Attach the crash sensor to the subframe using a blind rivet -  1 - as described.
