Bolt, 90 Nm + 90° additional turn

‹› Follow the tightening sequence, refer to --> [ Installing ] See: Suspension/Trailing Arm/Service and Repair/Trailing Arm with Mounting

Bracket. 

‹› Always replace after removal

Trailing arm

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket ] See: Suspension/Trailing Arm/Service and Repair/Trailing Arm

with Mounting Bracket. 

‹› Bushing removing and installing, refer to --> [ Trailing Arm Bushing ] See: Suspension/Trailing Arm/Trailing Arm Bushing/Service and

Repair.

Bolt, 8 Nm

Right rear wheel speed sensor (G44)/left rear wheel speed sensor (G46)

‹› Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" using the B.

‹› Before inserting sensor, clean the inner surface of the bore and coat with Polycarbamide grease (G 000 650).

Wheel bearing housing

Wheel bearing housing bushing

Housing Bushing.

Nut, 45 Nm

‹› Always replace after removal.

Bolt, 4 Nm

Brake disc

Dust cap

‹› Always replace after removal.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Wheel Bearing and Hub ] See: Wheel Bearing and Hub. 

An appropriate seal can only be achieved with a new dust cap.

Bolt, 180 Nm + 180° additional turn

‹› M16 x 1.5 x 70.

‹› Loosen and tighten using bit XZN 18 (T10162).

‹› Always replace after removal.

Wheel hub and l bearing

‹› Sensor ring for Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is installed in the wheel hub

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Wheel Bearing and Hub ] See: Wheel Bearing and Hub. 

The wheel bearing and hub are installed together in the housing.
