Used oil collection and extraction device (V.A.G 1782) remains below transmission.

Remove bolts - arrows - and remove oil pump cover -  A -.

Oil is still in oil pump cover.

Remove bolts - arrows - and remove oil pump -  1 - from alignment pin and oil pump driveshaft.

Oil pump, installing

-

Slide oil pump driveshaft - A - into transmission to stop while turning driveshaft slightly.
