Driver Interior Locking Button, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  The Push Button Illumination L76 is integrated in the Drivers Interior Locking Button E308, which cannot be replaced separately.

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( Trim
Removal Wedge VAS 3409, screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

-

Remove door trim panel.

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 1 - and remove mounting bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove the door opening with the Drivers Interior Locking Button E308 from the door trim.
